Spicexx.zip contains Nutmeg32 & Spice32 for Windows NT (March Beta) and Windows 3.1, plus the
Win32s subsystem (March Beta). The Win32s subsystem allows 32 bit Windows NT programs to run
on a Windows 3.1 system. If you run setup, this subsystem will be installed on your
Windows 3.1 system, along with my Spice32 and Nutmeg32 programs.
To install Nutmeg32 / Spice32 on a Windows 3.1 system., unzip Nutmeg32.zip recursively to
any directory. Start Windows and run setup.exe in the disk1 directory created by unzip.
If you're running nutmeg32 in Windows NT, you can generate a data base directly from
Nutmeg32's file menu. If you are using Windows 3.1, you'll have to generate the database
by running spice32 seperately from nutmeg32. (For now)
Win32s is in Beta, so you'll want to get a fresh version of Win32s when it's released.
If you don't know what Nutmeg32 / Spice32 is, read the Readme.txt file included.
Use at your own risk.
